PDP Dissolves Ondo Executive with Immediate Effect

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dissolved its Ondo State Executive Committee (SEC).

A statement issued on Sunday in Abuja by the party's national publicity secretary, Olisa Metu disclosed that the decision to dissolve the SEC was made by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party.

According to the Statement, the party has constituted a Caretaker Committee to pilot the affairs of the state chapter with immediate effect.

The Committee has Hon. Dare Adeleke as Chairman and Hon. Dare Solomon Osawu as its Secretary.

It added that all structures of the party at the ward, local government and state levels also stand dissolved.

The party further enjoined all its members in the state to work together in harmony specifically with the defection of Governor Olusegun Mimiko from the Labour Party to PDP.
