Abiala rejoices with Muslims

As Muslims across the country join their counterparts around the globe to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, Oyo State Labour Party (LP) gubernatorial aspirant, Olu Abiala, has called on the Muslim community in the state to use the occasion to pray for the peace and progress of the state

This was contained in the message of felicitation personally signed by the governorship aspirant in Ibadan, in which he congratulated Muslims for being alive to witness another celebration.

He enjoined them not to be carried away by the celebration through just dining and wining, but to reflect on the significance of the celebration, which is premised on unshakable faith in Almighty Allah and His ability to make the impossible possible.

“The provision of ram for sacrifice instead of Ismael as espoused by the Quran is a reflection of Almighty Allah’s power of provision at every point of need and this comes into manifestation because of the total and absolute submission to His will and purpose by Ibrahim, the father of Ismael.
