
A pregnant woman has lost her unborn baby after she was robbed at a bus stop.
The victim was sitting at the stop in Cromwell Road, Salford, when she was approached and attacked by three teenagers who stole her handbag, said Greater Manchester Police.
A spokesman said: “As a result of the attack the woman has lost her baby.”
The incident took place at about 5.45am on Saturday.
A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with robbery and is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court today.
