Tributes to Alan Henning from Syrian families he helped

Families in Syria who had been visited by Eccles taxi driver and aid worker Alan Henning have paid tribute to him after his death.
Alan Henning was killed by Islamic State in a video released on Friday, after being captured in December 2013.

The images show children an families in the town of Ad-Dana with banners reading: "we will never forget u because you never forgot us".
Another shows children with the banner "RIP Uncle Gadget", which had been Alan's nickname, because of his reputation for being able to fix anything.
