NBTS appoints Oluwole as registrar

The Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomosho, has appointed Dr. David Bamidele Oluwole as the registrar of the institution.

In a statement on Tuesday, the seminary stated that Oluwole attended the Oyo State College of Education, Oyo before proceeding to the University of Ilorin where he bagged a Bachelor of Arts in Education.

It explained that the new registrar also obtained a Bachelors of Theology degree from the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomosho and a Master of Arts degree in Christian Studies from the Lagos State University.

He also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Studies with specialisation in the New Testament from the Lagos State University, it added.

Prior to his present appointment, the statement said Oluwole served as the registrar of the Baptist College of Theology, Lagos where he was also the secretary to the governing council.

According to the seminary, Oluwole is a member of professional bodies such as International Council for Higher Education, West Africa, Nigerian Association for Biblical Studies, Nigeria Expository Preaching Initiative, Chartered Institute Of Personnel Management Of Nigeria and the Teacher’s Registration Council Of Nigeria.

It notes that Oluwole is a recipient of several awards.
